Ventura Air Services, Inc. (VAS), which recently celebrated its 55th anniversary, is a full service aircraft charter and management company operating jet aircraft and helicopters. Since safety is our priority, we also have an in-house full aircraft maintenance facility.

Ventura was originally a seaplane service for commuters from historic Manhasset Bay on Long Island to New York City and the Metro area. The company was purchased by John B. Thomson, Jr., Chairman of Thomson Industries, Inc. in 1977 and developed from strictly seaplanes to a management fleet of corporate jets and helicopters. Included in its fleet were Falcon 50's, a Challenger, Hawkers, Learjets and a Sikorsky 76, all operated for both corporate and charter activities.

Ventura is located at Republic Airport (FRG) at the Air East Hangar and currently operates Learjets and a helicopter from this location.
