Why charter with Ventura? We have been in the aircraft business for over 50 years and continue to strive for the ultimate in customer service. Outstanding pilots, experienced customer service representatives and dispatchers will provide a pleasurable flight experience.

What is the cost? The cost varies on size of aircraft and destination. Charter rates (per hour) range from small twin engine aircraft at $495 per hour, to large jets at over $4,000 per hour. Ventura can quote any trip, large or small.

What is the difference between an operator and a charter broker? An operator is FAA approved and operates specific aircraft approved by the FAA under special rules and regulations. A charter broker arranges aircraft charters through operators. Ventura Air is both an operator and a charter broker. We charter our own aircraft and arrange charters with others who we have experience with for years.

Can I rent an aircraft? Renting and chartering are different. To rent an aircraft you must be a pilot and go to a company like Air East Airways at Farmingdale, NY for small planes. Chartering is contracting an aircraft with crew for a specific trip or trips.
